How it Works
There are four Neuromodulators that are currently approved in Canada for “dynamic wrinkles”: Botox Cosmetic®, Xeomin®, Dysport® and Nuceiva®.
Neuromodulators reduce wrinkles and lines by temporarily relaxing specific muscles of the face and neck.
Before your treatment, our team will carefully assess your facial anatomy and expressions to determine the optimal dosage and treatment locations. The procedure takes only a few minutes and patients report very little discomfort.
Results begin to appear within a few days, with full effects in 1-2 weeks. Effects are temporary and generally last 3-4 months. With repeat treatments, lines and wrinkles soften as muscles become conditioned to relaxing. For optimal results, treatments should be given every four months for maintenance.
