FAQ

HOW DOES BOTOX WORK?

There are several brands of neuromodulators, or what is commonly referred to as “Botox.” Neuromodulators temporarily relax muscles that cause frown lines, crow’s feet, forehead lines, pebble chin, and bands in the neck. If injected properly, we can help smooth out fine lines and wrinkles and help you look more awake and refreshed.

Botox can also be used for medical treatment of migraine headaches, bruxism (teeth grinding or clenching), and hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating).

WILL MY FACE LOOK UNNATURAL OR OVERDONE?

We design and personalize your treatment plan to help you look natural and compliment your own unique anatomy. You will look like yourself, only with less noticeable lines and areas of volume loss.

WHO SHOULD NOT RECEIVE INJECTABLE TREATMENTS?

You should not receive any cosmetic injectables if you are under the age of 18, pregnant or breastfeeding, or have an active infection or serious illness. You should not have any dental work or laser treatment prior to or after receiving cosmetic injectables. Safety is our top concern. Prior to any treatment, an in-depth consultation with the Medical Director is required to ensure you are a good candidate to receive cosmetic injectables. Also, a follow-up appointment is required 2 weeks after receiving treatment.
